Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day at PEI National Park

Developed by the International Mountain Biking Association, the goal of Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day is to foster a connection between kids and the natural world around them. On October 1 2016, the public is invited to celebrate Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, an exciting afternoon of mountain bike demonstrations and clinics teaching families how to ride mountain bike trails and learn trail etiquette. Through demonstrations and clinics, local experts will be available to show families how to ride and how to use technical features.

This event will also mark the unveiling of instructional and wayfinding signage and a new interpretive program which highlight the rich natural and cultural heritage of the area.
