Town of Yarmouth: a great collaborative partner

Over the years, Ekistics Planning and Design and Form:Media have responded to many RFPs from the Town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. We have built a strong relationship, and collaborated with the town on everything from their brand to signage, from a downtown façade program to streetscape design.

In February 2016, the town launched transit system, one of the first transit services in the Atlantic provinces to offer Smart Card Fare Technology, making it convenient for Transit riders to purchase a pass anywhere and at anytime. Form:Media helped out with signage. 

Recently, Form:Media saw a wayfinding program come to completion as the final signs of a comprehensive system are being installed. 

In 2010, Ekistics Planning and Design completed the Yarmouth Downtown Blueprint Plan. Ekistics Planning & Design developed a streetscape that will be 'uniquely recognizably Yarmouth'. For this project, we introduced natural elements to balance the existing structured form and to create a hospitable pedestrian environment.
