The Mi’kmaq Confederacy of Prince Edward Island is a tribal council that helps bridge the gap between the Mi’kmaq First Nation and the Federal Government of Canada. They assist member First Nations councils by advising them in five key areas: band governance, community planning, finances, economic development and technical services.
