In Partnership with Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission, Fathom Studio designed and oversaw the installation of 14 murals on familiar and unexpected places in the downtown core. Phrases were chosen to inspire, motivate and encourage community spirit amidst the challenges of COVID-19. The response was so positive that a T-shirt campaign resulted to fundraise for the Street Navigator Outreach Program expanding the message to take care and be kind.

The word murals were installed quietly over several days, building a sense of anticipation and quickly becoming a treasure hunt for the community. It became clear within days how much these messages were appreciated and that the spirit of the murals was reflected, the intent achieved as posts on social media grew, conversations in local businesses were had, and folks set out to find all 14 of the murals.
